About us

Experience You Can See in the Work

J.I.C. Electric is led by electrician Jesus Caratachea, bringing approximately 20 years of hands-on electrical experience to residential, commercial and construction projects.

That experience covers more than one type of electrical work. It includes diagnosing problems in existing systems, upgrading electrical service, working through remodels, installing electrical systems in new construction, improving lighting and outdoor spaces, and coordinating electrical work as part of larger building projects.

For our customers, that means you don't need to arrive with the electrical solution already figured out.

Bring us the problem, the plan or the project.

We'll start by understanding what you're trying to accomplish and what the property requires.

Our approach

A Straightforward Way to Get Electrical Work Done

Every project is different, but the way we approach the work stays grounded in the same idea: understand the project before deciding how to execute it.

  1. 01

    Understand What You Need

Tell us what's happening, what you're changing or what you're planning to build.

For an existing electrical problem, that may begin with troubleshooting. For a remodel or construction project, it starts with understanding the plans, electrical needs and stage of the work.

  2. 02

    Review the Project

We look at the existing conditions, project requirements and electrical work involved so the next step is based on the property — not a one-size-fits-all answer.

  3. 03

    Plan the Electrical Work

For larger projects, electrical work has to fit into everything happening around it.

We account for the scope of work, electrical capacity, locations, finished use of the space and coordination required with the rest of the project.

  4. 04

    Complete the Work

From rough electrical hidden behind the walls to the panels, fixtures, switches, outlets and lighting you interact with every day, the goal is a finished electrical system that supports the way the property needs to work.

Most of this happens before a single device gets installed — walking the property, reading the plans, and working out how the electrical has to land.

Tell Us What You're Working On

You don't need to know exactly what electrical service you need before contacting us.

Tell us what's happening, what you'd like to change or what you're planning to build. Give us a little information about the property and project, and we'll use that context to determine the appropriate next step.
